My work

As a shamanic practitioner, I work in partnership with Spirit to:

• Help spiritually sensitive people recognize, accept, and survive their initiations

• Restore right relationship on land impacted by colonization and capitalism

• Foster decolonized, soul-aligned, and ecologically mature perspectives in those just beginning to “wake up” from the spell of our times

I repair sovereignty in my clients—both human and nonhuman—by removing what is NOT them (including malevolent entities and ancestral curses), returning what IS them (through soul retrievals and guided journeying), and walking beside them (via medicine ceremonies and mentorship).

I work to build a culture that affirms animistic and shamanic perspectives by writing both my Substack The Wild and Holy Moment and a book (Shaman: A Memoir—seeking representation) about the historical destruction of shamanic lineages around the world and my own decades-long process of being trained for spiritual service in a culture that doesn’t believe in it.

My training

All shamanism is culturally-specific. Because I am the descendant of those whose medicine traditions were destroyed by colonization and forced Christianization, and because I have grown up in a culture that does not recognize the validity of this work, my training necessarily stitches together a fractured medicine lineage.

I am six times death-initiated and the survivor of demonic possessions. I am continuously undergoing initiations that help me decolonize and disinvest in capitalism, in order to more fully embody and guide others into right relationship. My work draws on my many past lives as a healer as well as a decade of direct apprenticeship with spirits, celestial beings, and ancestors. I am Reiki I & II certified and have formal training in psychic reading and tarot. In 2025, I completed the Shamanic Practitioner Training at the Nordic School of Shamanism (near Lavik, Norway).

I bridge my own Celtic and Norse ancestry with a style of healing that resonates with modern Americans (and other Westerners), informed by my own deep healing journey from medical trauma, attachment trauma, sibling abuse, sexual assault, and the deep wounds of living within capitalism. This journey has required me to deeply engage with diverse modalities such as Somatic Experiencing, EMDR, hypnotherapy, mythosomatic qigong, pelvic therapy, holotropic breathwork, plant medicine, acupuncture, and many other forms of energy work and bodywork.

• TREE READINGS: Source answers to your deepest questions from trees you have loved. You'll leave feeling plugged into the natural world and broken open by the trees' tenderness and humor.

• MEDICINE CEREMONIES: Custom rituals for integration, threshold-crossing, and spiritual evolution, held in wild places.

• HOUSE AND LAND CLEARINGS: Removal of entities and lost or earthbound souls, rebalancing of energies, contract renegotiations with land spirits or elementals, and more, as necessary to return a space to livability and ensouled dignity.
